How To Select A Perfect Cricket Bat

In the game of cricket, the most crucial thing about the game is the bat. Bat basically used to hit the ball away and score some runs. But, do you know that an extraordinary bat can change the game.  I have seen players changing their bats in times of pressure so that they can score good runs. But, there are some points you need to consider before you choose a cricket bat you need to keep in mind these things.

Select what you think is perfect for you

The comfort while batting is the most important part to score good runs. If the batsman is not comfortable with the bat he might fail to achieve a good score.

When you go and buy a bat for yourself the first thing to consider is that you should be comfortable in handling the bat. Try choosing from different bats so that you can get the best in terms of your batting style and batting position.

If you come at number 3 or number 4 then there are chances you are trying to hit some big shots. Which might only be possible if you are comfortable with your bat.

Just imagine if you are not comfortable with the knife will you be able to cut the vegetables? The answer is no, and the same goes in the case of bats.

Always make a budget

The second thing is to finalize a budget, try choosing the budget which fits your pocket.  You can always find a perfect bat in your budget segment.

If you have a set budget, When you visit a store there you will have a good range to choose from.

Weight of the bat

Weight always matters heavyweight bats are always considered good for power-hitting or big shots. In a match against Australia, we saw Indian captain MS Dhoni choosing the bat once he found the bat you could see him hitting the ball very hard.

Although the ideal weight of the bat varies from person to person depending upon what weight he can handle.

Choose your Willow wisely

Two of the most used willows in cricket are the English willow and the Kashmir willow. English willow is considered better in terms of elasticity and strength. Whereas if you are a beginner and are low on budget you can always go with the Kashmir willow at the start.

Choose the right size

The height of the bat is also considered an important point while choosing. If the height of the bat is not good and is not appropriate according to the height of the batsman it might lead to scoring fewer runs.

There is no appropriate height of the bat according to the cricket council but the major factors that might affect the height of the bat can be the height of the batsman.

Many cricketers like Chris gayle tend to use bats of bigger sizes whereas Sachin used a bat considerably a bat of smaller size although the main factor is the preference of the batsman

Conclusion

When choosing a perfect cricket bat you need to consider the following points mentioned above. Although the main point is the batsman's comfort and you should always consider the bat which fits according to your needs and your hands.  Some factors that may also affect are the types of balls, I mean to say there can be a different set of bats for the red balls and they can be completely different for white balls.

I hope this guide was helpful for you and I believe now you can select the perfect bat according to your needs.
